Hey Readers Today's topic for the article is Roadmap for 1st Year students.
Most of the students are confused in what coding language should they choose and is learning a coding language really necessary ???
The answer is very simple - YES. It is necessary to learn coding language.
You can choose any coding language.

Some of the Trending Languages in 2021 are:

1.JavaScript
2. C/C++
3.Python
4.Java
5.Dart

According to your syllabus, you must learn C/C++ because it's in your syllabus and it can help you a lot in future since most of the placement companies ask you to code in either C/C++ or Java.

In 2nd semester you are going to learn about the Data Structure Algorithim in C which is little bit complicated to learn and understand, but in future it can help you a lot as every coding language have DSA in it so C will be better to learn or code.

About your semesters- Internals will be of 25 marks and Externals will be of 75 marks. It is necessary to secure 40% of the marks in both the exams. In internals, it is advised to score above 10 out of 25. If you fail to achieve 10 marks, then you're gonna reappear the paper with the juniors next year. Same goes for the externals, but in Externals you have to score above 30 out of 75.

We or other seniors won't recommend you to learn something extra in 1st year since in 2nd and final year you will be busy in learning coding, doing internships a lot and last but not the least preparing for the NIMCET Exam too. So Enjoy your 1st year in college, interact with your friends and just understand C/C++ and DSA.
